Wales star Chris Gunter explains how Gareth Bale is set to become their greatest ever player.....

Wales full-back Chris Gunter has been on the international scene for years. He incredibly won his 50th cap at only 24 years old. The athletic defender is crucial for how national team manager Chris Coleman sets up his attacking team.
As someone who’s played with & against some of the best players in the world he knows star quality when he sees it.
He told football4football:

The Welsh team is on a crest of a wave as they qualified for Euro 2016 in France. It was the first tournament the country had played at since 1958!
Gunter has seen the team go through many stages over the years and is benefiting from his consistency now.
He was plucked from Cardiff as teenager into the pressure pot of the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.
He was there around the same time as another young Welshman had just joined, who’d go on to become the World’s most expensive player.
Of course we’re talking about Gareth Bale. Gunter explains to football4football about his Galactico team-mate:
“Gaz has gone to Madrid and done things there in the past few years, that shows he has the ability to surpass any Welsh player”.

The most expensive player in the world, ever! His rise has been spectacular and development rapid.
Although Bale has won La Liga titles & Champions Leagues for undisputed greatness the international stage will need to be conquered.
In qualifying he was truly inspirational for Wales. If that form can be matched throughout the Euros & future competitions, then legendary status will surely follow.
