You don't have to be a keeper to suffer an elbow injury

Elbow injuries in football are fairly uncommon. As you can imagine, it's the keepers that suffer most but if it happens to an outfield player it usually involves major pain!

FLYING out at an attackers feet is part and parcel of being a keeper. They expect to get clattered by the odd stray boot and suffer their fair share of elbow or knees to the body.
