RESEARCHED : NuCalm's biosignal processing discs are a feat of persistent research

The clinical grade NuCalm system, that was an FDA Class III medical device between 2009 – 2021, incorporated biochemistry and neuroacoustic software. To ensure a rapid, safe, and predictable decrease in the stress response, the NuCalm system relied upon amino acid supplements catalyzed by a stimulation device called cranial electrotherapy stimulation. GABA A is the body’s primary inhibitory neurotransmitter that effectively puts the brakes on the stress response by slowing down adrenaline.

The process of chewing tablets, or applying a cream to the carotid artery, followed by a stimulation device using neuropatches behind the ears, was cumbersome and expensive. In 2015, Dr. Blake Holloway took on the challenge of finding a better way to present the brain with GABA A and worked with experts across the globe to identify the frequencies of the amino acids that were in the NuCalm cream

BIOSIGNAL PROCESSING

The NuCalm biosignal processing discs were launched in July 2019. The discs use resonance and biomodulation, like a tuning fork, to present the brain with the frequencies of GABA A. The discs are imprinted with frequencies inside a Tesla coil onto a 6-layer Multi-Wave Oscillator invented by Nikola Tesla and George Lakhovsky almost 100 years ago.

The invention of the discs and the manufacturing process are complex, but they are easy to use. You apply a NuCalm disc to your inner left wrist to increase the relaxation effect of NuCalm Rescue, PowerNap, and FlowState on the NuCalm mobile app. The discs are an accessory.
